The Fox Building refurbishment at ACS International School, Cobham, was a two-phase project involving the reconfiguration and upgrade of all four floors, with a specialised laboratory fit-out on the second floor. Phase 1 was successfully completed over the summer holidays to accommodate the Middle School’s transition into the lower three storeys by early August. Phase 2, a more comprehensive fit-out of the second floor, took 20 weeks to complete.
This complex project required careful coordination between multiple disciplines working simultaneously, including the decant, furniture and lift installation contractors.

We managed the intricate scheduling and collaborated closely with the school and contractor to ensure minimal disruption to the school environment and achieve timely, efficient progress across all construction activities.
Added Value & Innovation
Changing Programme
We worked on the project full time with a weekly onsite progress meeting to re-act to challenging existing site conditions and material availability in a short time frame. We found alternative solutions to material selection and processes to ensure the overall programme was not affected.
Detailed Coordination & Communication
Regular meetings ensured that the school and contractors were aligned on timelines, noise restrictions, and safety protocols and expectations were managed.
Diligent Monitoring
We ensured the programme was carefully monitored, and all stakeholders received timely information to maintain smooth project progress, keeping tight control on costs.
